The solubility in water is very small, and the solubility decreases with the increase of temperature. The solubility in cold water is larger than hot water. Soluble in dilute acid, insoluble in ethanol and acetone.
Application: Raw material for preparing lithium compound and lithium metal. Electrolytic bath additive capable of aluminum smelting.
